Michael Madsen (Chicago (Illinois), 25 september 1958) is een Amerikaans acteur.

Hij begon met acteren in het Chicago Steppenwolf Theatre onder begeleiding van John Malkovich. In War Games (1983) maakte hij zijn filmdebuut. Daarna speelde hij nog enkele kleine rollen in onder andere The Natural en Thelma & Louise. Michael is het meest bekend om zijn rol als Mr. Blonde in de film Reservoir Dogs (1992), geregisseerd door Quentin Tarantino. Later speelde hij dragende rollen in succesvolle producties als Free Willy (1993), Species (1995) en Kill Bill (2003).
In 2005 was hij de stem van Maugrim in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
