Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath is a English heavy metal band. It is considered as most influential and greatest rock band ever to form. It was formed in Birmingham, England in 1969. The original members were Ozzy Osbourne (vocals) (born December 3,1948), Tony Iommi (lead guitar) (born February 19,1948), Terence 'Geezer' Butler (bass) (born July 17,1949), and William 'Bill' Ward (drums) (born May 5,1948). The bands most known songs include Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Iron Man, and Sympthom of the Universe. In 1979, Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath and replaced by Ronnie James Dio. Black Sabbath is responsible for the formation of heavy metal with there creative music. Iommi's heavy guitar riffs and Ozzy Osbourne's physcotic lyric made them diverse. Black Sabbath is now No. 2 in VH-1 hist of greatest hardrock artists.
Black Sabbath's dark culture made them more attractive to there fans. There greatest hit albums which changed the course of rock music were Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Haven and Hell and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. They were the leaders of rock during 70s and late 60s but in 1980 with departure of founding member Ozzy Osboure who was the vocalist of band due to swear alcholism problem the band started to face managment problems. Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy Osbourne. In 90's theymade reunion and came to original line up and they are still active. Black Sabbath is now known as most influential rock band and fathers of heavy metal with great music and live performances.
