Clematis is a genus (a scientific name for a group of related species) of plants, that is widely known for its beautiful flowers.
There are many varieties in this group as gardeners around the world has produced many varieties. Not only in Western countries but also in Japan, you can see many types of flowers.
This plant grows up with its vines, often climbing up a tree near by. The original species mostly can be found in warm-temperate zones on Earth. But you can find some species even in high mountains.
