F. Scott Fitzgerald
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald (September 24, 1896 - December 21, 1940) was an Irish American writer. He wrote five books:
- This Side of Paradise
- The Beautiful and Damned
- The Great Gatsby (his most famous book)
- Tender is the Night
- The Love of the Last Tycoon (he did not finish this one; some say it would have been better than The Great Gatsby if he had finished it)
Fitzgerald was an alcoholic, and died of a heart attack in 1940.
