Graviton
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The graviton is a theoretical particle which carries the gravitational force. No experiments have yet resulted in its detection. Its discovery could lead to a single theory which would join together the four fundamental physical forces: electromagnetism, gravity, the strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force.
As the graviton is a force-carrying particle, it is classed as a boson. Other bosons include the photon, the gluon and the W and Z particles.
