Henry the Navigator

Henry the Navigator (1394-1460), called Infante Dom Henrique in Portuguese) was a prince from Portugal. He was never a navigator himself, but he got his name because he organized many voyages on which lands were discovered. He is seen as the man who started European colonial expansion.
