Lech Wałęsa (pronounced Vah-le-sah) (born September 29, 1943) was a Polish shipyard worker and a politician who used to be the leader of Solidarity and the President of Poland. In July 2006, he decided to come back to contest against Lech Kaczyński and his brother, Jaroslaw, claiming that the two brothers (Lech is the President of Poland while Jaroslaw is its Prime Minister) would create trouble in the government.
