Scrotum
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The scrotum is the bag that holds the testicles in men. It is made of skin and muscle.
The function of the scrotum is to keep the testicles less warm. Human testicles work best at 34.4 degrees Celsius (94 degrees Fahrenheit). Normal body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.) If testicles are in the body, they are too warm. The scrotum keeps them outside the body. Then they are the right temperature.
