Supreme Court of the United States

The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest court in the United States of America. As such, the Court leads the Judicial Branch of the United States Federal Government. It is the only American court that was established by the United States Constitution.
The Supreme Court meets in Washington, D.C. There are nine judges on the court: one Chief Justice, and eight Associate Justices.
