The impending launch of The CW caused some FOX owned UPN channels to air alternate programming and SmackDown was either moved to another time on another network (i.e. 2 am on WGN), or shown in a one hour version, also at an unusual time. As a result, SmackDown was not seen at all in 6% of the country and pre-empted in an additional 24%.[citation needed]
