ABC Weekend Special

The ABC Weekend Special was a weekly 30-minute anthology TV series for children which aired Saturday mornings on ABC from 1977 to 1997. It featured a wide variety of stories in both the live-action and animated realms.
In the 1980s, puppet character O. G. Readmore served as the host of this series, as well as starring in five animated episodes.

The opening title sequence was animated by San Diego based American Film Technologies, with key animation by comic book artist Terrie Smith.
