Acrobat Mission is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game released by UPL in 1991, licensed to Taito for manufacture and distribution. Ported to Nintendo Super Famicom in 1992.
The game is set in the year 2100, where Earth has been devastated by the humans, who have left to live on Mars until the Earth recovers. After setting up a base there, they were suddenly attacked by strange flying objects; so they set up an attack force for defense. The operation is called "acrobat mission" because it exceeds the technical flying ability of the pilots.
You can play as fighter pilots Jet or Nova, and shoot enemies, collect power-ups, and defeat bosses to advance levels.
