Akita Sanesue

Akita Sanesue (秋田実季, 1576 - 1660) was a Japanese samurai, the second son of Ando Chikasue, and a warlord of Dewa. Akita defeated the Onodera in 1588 and supported Tokugawa Ieyasu at the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. Due to illness, however, he was sent to Shishido in Hitachi in 1602 by Tokugawa. In 1632, he was sent to Asama in Ise Province.[1]
