[edit] Intresting Ayyavazhi Family
Hai Akira, there are intresting articles about Ayyavazhi, a new religion on both mythology and religiosity. Wikipedia is rich with this topic in English, but poor in other languages. Since french is a leading language in Wikipedia it is better to translate the contents on this AYYAVAZHI family to french. - Paul Raj

Akira742, are you absolutely certain about the 小町 translation for the Komachi (Shinkansen) ?? The Japanese page for the train says it was named after ja:小野小町. Since Akita is famous through Japan for their beautiful women (ja:秋田美人 ), it almost makes we want to belive you, but I'm wondering where you heard it and if it is verifiable. - Thanks for your response. I did a brief google search, and only found two pages which didn't seem to be copied from wikipedia. One is the URL you told me about, and the other was http://www.tohoku.meti.go.jp/sankaikyo/english/hea/tiiki/23/tohoku23.htm#Komachi which looks like it may be taken from the same place (or vice versa). I would like a bit more than that, so, I posted a question on the Japanese wikipedia, where there is an English help page for situations like this. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Chatsubo_for_Non-Japanese_Speakers#Komachi_Translation
If the beauty/belle translation does not have any relevance, then I think the wiki article may need something a little stronger because of the number of sources which copied the old information. Something like "Although the word Komachi can be "beauty" or "belle" in Japanese, the train line was actually named after Ono no Komachi, a Japanese poet" would hopefully clear up everything.- Let's wait and see if anyone responds to the help request; and I'll also ask some guys at work, etc. (I live/work in Sendai, so there are some local trivia experts around). - Based on the response on the Japanese side, and from an online Japanese->Japanese dictionary, I think that the beauty/belle definition for 小町 is derived from the poet's name. Would you mind if I changed the article to something like this? The Komachi service was named after a famous poet from the area, Ono no Komachi, whose name is also synonymous with "belle" or "beauty" in Japanese.
