Aldine Independent School District

Aldine Independent School District is a school district based in Houston, Texas (USA).
Aldine ISD covers a part of northern Houston as well as parts of unincorporated Harris County and a portion of the city of Humble.
Aldine ISD serves the communities of Aldine, most of Greenspoint, Hidden Valley, and Inwood Forest.
Aldine ISD is part of the taxation base for North Harris Montgomery Community College District.
Each house or residence (by zip code and street name) in Aldine ISD is zoned to an early education school (Early Childhood through Pre-Kindergarten), an elementary school (Kindergarten through grade 4), an intermediate school (5 through 6), a middle school (7 through 8), a ninth grade center (9), and a high school (10 through 12).
This school district is a minority school district. It is made up of 60.8% of the Hispanic origin, 32.2% of the African American origin, and 4.8% of the white origin. Eighty-eight percent are economically disadvantaged, and half of the students are limited in English skill. Yet, this school is very advanced and works with a philosophy that all students can learn.
