Nimitz High School (Harris County, Texas)

Chester W. Nimitz High School is a public secondary school made of two campuses located in unincorporated Harris County, Texas. The campuses have Houston addresses.
The school serves portions of Houston, the Aldine ISD portion of Humble, and unincorporated areas of Harris County.
Nimitz is one of five high schools in the Aldine Independent School District. The main campus serves grades 10 through 12, while the Nimitz Ninth Grade School serves grade 9.
Nimitz gained 215 Hurricane Katrina evacuees after the hurricane struck New Orleans and nearby coastal areas in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama [1].
