Alessandro Gamberini

Alessandro Gamberini (born August 27, 1981 in Bologna) is an Italian footballer for ACF Fiorentina of Serie A. He plays in the role of defender, is tall 185 cm and weighs 78 kg.
Gamberini made his first team debut for Serie A team Bologna F.C. 1909 in 1999/2000. He played for Bologna until 2004/2005, except a short one-season parenthesis for Hellas Verona F.C. in 2002/2003, before to move to Fiorentina in 2005, after Bologna relegated to Serie B.
Gamberini has never been capped for the Italy national football team, however he was part of the pre-World Cup stage held on May 2 and 3, 2006 in Rome.
