[edit] Esoteric renaming

Well, it's not really a huge issue, it just looks kind of awkward dumped down there at the bottom after the more substantive bulk of the article. (Ditto with the pronunciation guide -- I'd really like to see those incorpated into the various articles, as they're used, rather than just dropped at the bottom in a list. I may attempt that tomorrow, if I get the chance.) Some of the items listed seem fairly self-evident to me, but I admit they might not to other readers. Wikipedia not being paper, we can have lists for pretty much anything, I guess.. aesthetically, though, I'm trying to think if there's a better place to place this information (I'm hesitant to spin off a second article, because I don't know how far it could get past stub form). Maybe it's just me though, I dunno. The daemon table, on the other hand, is decidedly more problematic for me; if you have any thoughts on the matter, I hope you'll comment on the talk page. Back in the summer of 96 I happened to pick up a book called Stargate. I was ingrossed from the beginning. It was a simple paperback and I don't even know who wrote it. In the beginning it tells of a woman, Ra's wife who has been in a surcoficuse (probably spelled wrong) for several thousand years and awakens to find that her husband Ra left several thousand years before heading to a planet called earth where he planned to subdue a rebellion of the locals. She later finds he was bushwhacked by a rival system lord and killed. She finds she is in the company of Horus and his dog soldiers so she lures him to a promise of sex and kills him. She then takes over his soldiers and starts out with his commendiered ship to Abidos. It then pretty much follows the Stargate movie exept in the movie she is Ra. When I saw the movie I was disappointed that they portrayed her as Ra. The character in the movie even looked like a woman. I was wondering if you had even known about this book since it was not listed as a book source in the web page. I have noticed that nobody on the chat rooms seems to know about this book. I am .....really... a stargate fanatic and have every episode on tape. I really liked how the book started with the gwa'old characters and explained them before ever reading about the earthlings. The movie left me in the dark about them, never knowing their characters before they were on Abidos. If you are a fan like me, you should check it out. By the way, have you concidered using a template for your signature? I created this template for my signature and have found it quite usefull. Weighing in on Image:Northernlights.jpg, it's not good enough just to say it's "PD", you need some kind of evidence that the original copyright owner has put it in the public domain, or that it's pre-1923, or whatever, and then it's no longer has to be called "fair use". Hi I jus added the Humans in Atlantis/SG-1 pages to the template because the section in the template is called people in Stargate. The word "People" inplies people. If there is going to be a section about people in Stargate, the 2 most important people articles should be there right? Why did you delete them? Also, those are far more important Stargate pages than some of the others on there. Especialy the IOA. I don't think that the IOA even qulaifies as a Stargate topic. It was only mentioned once ever. Hi, yesterday i reverted someone's edits (an IP) who wrote that there were only 7 chevrons on a gate, not 9. I saw the you made the exact same reversion today to a RU who made the exact same change again. He is probably the same guy. He is going to keep adding this piece of incorrect info until someone teaches him how to count. What should we do?

In your recent edit of The Siege (Stargate Atlantis), you suggested that all of The Siege episodes be merged "per standard for sg articles". What standard are you refering to? List of Stargate SG-1 episodes has no such standard as evidenced by the fact that 2+ part episodes aren't merged into one (an example is "The Tok'ra", parts 1 and 2). I could do so, but I don't think it should be. With reference to past objections, I think the following need to be done to it:

• Fix the large amount of grammar and spelling mistakes in the synopses.
• Go through each image and tag it as {{tv-screenshot}}, and while we're there it'd probably be a good idea to add the Stargate images category.
