Alicante Tram

The Alicante Tram (TRAM Metropolitano de Alicante/TRAM Metropolità d'Alacant) is a tram system currently operated on 2 lines by FGV in the Spanish city of Alicante and its surrounding areas.
Both lines run from the main train station, with Line 1 to el Campello and Line 2 to the university area. Future expansion will see a link to the airport at El Altet and northward expansion along the coast to the towns of Benidorm, Altea and Denia.
