From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I hail from the Minneapolis-St.Paul region of Minnesota.
I have visited several other states besides Minnesota including: Wisconsin, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, and South Dakota. I have never left the United States. As such, I have an intense wish to visit other countries.
I have an interest in outer space, which has influenced an interest in amateur astronomy. I am also fascinated with the human brain; especially so with regards to our core abilities to reason, think, and abstract. I also find psychoactive drugs to be immensely captivating. Their abilities to shift our perceptions of reality and space never fail to peak my interest. I like many musical artists from a variety of genres, but jam bands take the cake with me.
My politics are by most definitions fairly liberal. I favor the non-aligned movement that some countries follow, as well as the observance of neutrality during wartime. I favor the legalization of cannabis; however I believe that people should have the right to consume, use, or otherwise impart whatever substances they wish to use upon their bodies (after all, it is your body). As such, I also favor reverting the legal drinking age back to 18, but I am not against making it younger. I am for same-sex marriage, as people should be able to choose their partner in life, regardless of gender.
I feel that displaying or talking about your personal politics through text or userboxes is acceptable. Because they are such an important part of human life, I believe that including them in your userpage, as a userbox professes, shows the diversity of the Wikipedian community and can connect people of a like mindset. However, I believe that Wikipedians, despite their viewpoints, should try to maintain a neutral point of view when editing articles, as articles can be their best when not faltered by bias.
Currently, I do not adhere to any certain Wikipedian philosophy.
