I am a very regular mediator for the Mediation Cabal (yeah I no, there is no cabal). I also advocate for the AMA and I am currently mediating for the Med Com.

I ask all requestors for assistance/mediation to study the Dispute Resolution Process:

1. Talk it through: The first resort in resolving almost any conflict is to discuss the issue on a talk page. Either contact the other party on that user's talk page, or use the talk page associated with the article in question. Never carry on a dispute on the article page itself. Stay cool and don't mount personal attacks
   
2. Disengage for a While: A simple solution to a dispute is to stop having it — by leaving the article and/or bringing in an outside editor.
   

1. Other-party Resolution: This is were things heat up a little and other editors begin to get involved. Try some of the following:

• Informal Meditation
  • Formal Meditation This is conducted using WP:M
  • Conduct a Survey For a helping hand, see Wikipedia:Straw_polls. ^{Wikipedia is not a Democracy}
    • Arbitration - The last resort. My personal style when it comes to Arbitration is that I will normally advise my client if it is necessary; however your Advocate is likely to work differently. (See The Guide to Advocacy)

I pride myself on taking an almost equal particpation in article editing; I pass or fail around five Good Articles each day, and try to get a few Peer Reviews done.

I am the founder of the Wikipedia Signpost Interview series, the next of which is expected to be with Mindspillage, otherwise known as Kat Walsh and a current member of the Wikimedia Board of Trustees, having been recently elected.

I am a regular contributor to railway articles, I have membership in Portal:Trains and Portal:UK Railways. My main railway editing project is Cambuslang railway station, which is a current GA nominee. I also helped promote Paddington station to GA status, and get it featured as Portal:UK Railways' selected article for one week.

Currently my main editing project and my love child. This article has been greatly expanded since I began editing it; however it is currently nowhere near Featured Article status - in the meanwhile, I am currently editing with the aim of achieving GA status as soon as possible.
