Arcane Tricksters are fictional members of a certain prestige class in the Dungeons and Dragons universe. They combine their knowledge of spells with taste of intrigue, larceny or just plain mischief.[1] They are among most adaptable for adventurers. Arcane Spell-casting and Sneak Attack Ability are needed to qualify for this class, making it natural choice for multi-class wizard/rogue or sorcerer/rogue. Assassins occasionally opt for this class but usually if they already have wizard/sorcerer levels.
