Arnar Viðarsson

Arnar Viðarsson (born March 15, 1978) is an Icelandic football player.
He started his career in FH Hafnarfjördur, and moved to Belgium to play for K.S.C. Lokeren early in his career. He returned to FH for a short period, but has now played for Lokeren since October 1998. Since that time, Lokeren has signed many Icelandic players, for instance midfielder Rúnar Kristinsson who holds the Icelandic record for most international caps.
In 2006 he deserved a transfer to FC Twente, where he plays with number 5.
Viðarsson, also a midfielder, has been capped 39 times for Iceland as well as 41 times at youth level.
Arnar is the brother of current Everton F.C. midfielder Bjarni Viðarsson
