[edit] Receptions Record
The article states that Monk retired with the all-time receptions record. However, statistics on [1] seem to show that Jerry Rice passed him during the 1995 season, while he was still technically active. I'd like to re-word the sentence in the aritcle, but I wanted to post a message here first and make sure I'm not mistaken. --djrobgordon 20:28, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
This is a good catch (no pun intended!). I'm the user that had included that update, based on my recollection and based on a series of articles I'd read making the same claim. It seems that Rice caught Monk during the last week of the 1995 season. Hopefully the latest change sets this straight. --batukhan 13:32, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
