Atlantic Airlines

Atlantic Airlines is a cargo airline based in Coventry, United Kingdom. It operates contract and ad hoc cargo flights worldwide, especially within Europe and across the Atlantic. Its main bases are Coventry Airport (CVT) and Riga International Airport (RIX), with hubs at Konrad Adenauer Airport (CGN), Cologne/Bonn, Bierset Airport (LGG), Liege and Tallinn Airport (TLL).
Atlantic Airlines Limited holds a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority Type A Operating Licence, permitting it to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with 20 or more seats.[1]

The airline was established in 1994 and started operations in 1998. It was formed as part of the Air Atlantique Group of Companies to specialise in the supply of contract and ad hoc cargo services. Since July 2001 Atlantic Airlines has traded independently within the group and continues to broaden its product range and capability, for instance through the signing of a strategic alliance with a similar specialist operator, Enimex of Estonia. The company Atlantic Airlines Limited was created on the 28 May 2004.
Atlantic Airlines also holds a contract to provide the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency with Lockheed Electra aircraft fitted with aerial spray equipment to combat oil pollution at sea.
