• Chee Yam Cheng, Assistant CEO (Clinical) of the National Healthcare Group says that by June 2006 National University Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital will implement a new electronic system for the entire medication, diagnostic test and laboratory process. (CNA)
• Lee Ki Bang, principal research scientist of Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, says that the institute has invented a urine-powered micro battery that can be used in disposable test kits for diabetes and other diseases. (CNA)
