Autobarn Racing is a V8 Supercar racing team, also known as Rod Nash Racing.
Rod Nash was a privateer driver in the late 1990s, and received a Level 2 licence when the V8 Supercars began their licensing arrangement. Nash has run Tony Longhurst, Cameron McConville, Alex Davison and Owen Kelly, among others. In 2006, they had a new driver in Steve Owen and were using Paul Morris Motorsport made chassis and engines after spending a few seasons with Perkins Engineering. In the first round, Owen collapsed behind the wheel from heat exhaustion and was taken to hospital. He made a stellar comeback, scoring top 15 positions and had a brilliant run with Tony Longhurst. Owen will once again drive with the team in an older VZ while their VE will run some time after the Bathurst 1000. The major difference is that the team will not have any holden signage, and will become a privateer team.
