Avifauna

The term avifauna can be used in one of two senses:
- to mean "bird fauna" i.e. the bird species found in a particular geographic region (e.g. "the avifauna of India")
- to refer to a book about the status of the bird fauna of a particular geographic region (see List of country and regional avifaunas). See also Ornithological handbook.
- A bird-park in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands, see Vogelpark Avifauna
