In the fictional Star Trek universe, Azetbur is the only revealed female Chancellor of the Klingon Empire. She assumed the role in 2293 upon the assassination of her father, Chancellor Gorkon. Azetbur was seen onscreen only in the film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. She was played by Rosanna DeSoto (credited as Rosana DeSoto).
Azetbur became a leader at a critical time in Klingon history, as her homeworld of Qo'noS had just suffered severe ecological damage because of the explosion of its moon, Praxis. She was prominent during the Khitomer Accords, leading to an unprecedented period of relative peace between the Federation and the Klingons.
