[edit] Summary
A still image from a television performance of the Aztec Lady illusion. The image comes from a very brief clip that formed part of the British ITV television special Heroes of Magic, broadcast in 2000. It is believed by the uploader that the original footage dates from the 1970s but this cannot be confirmed as no records are available.
This image is historically significant in that this illusion was rarely performed, it is not in current repertoires and there are very few other visual records of its existence. This is almost the only surviving pictorial evidence of the illusion and the only example that might be available within Wikipedia's licensing rules.
This image is being used for informational purposes in that it illustrates the existence of the illustion and the general scale and shape of the props.
Neither the Heroes of Magic special nor the original programme from which the clip was excerpted are available commercially - either as recordings or part of any broadcast schedule. Even if the original footage was available commercially, this image is of a lower quality than any that might be taken from a first generation recording.
