Bazedoxifene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), developed by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, undergoing clinical evaluation for the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. It is currently in the early phases of review by the United States' Food and Drug Administration.
