I'm a Canadian Wikipedia user, originally from the Ottawa area but currently residing in Kingston, Ontario for a work term. I have also lived in Japan and Australia. I attend the University of Ottawa, studying chemical engineering.

I use Macintosh computers, I am semi-vegetarian, I'm a fan of New Wave music, and I am active on the quizbowl scene.

Originally, I was pessimistic about Wikipedia because of its risks of factual inaccuracy. However, I admit that I frequently browse on a casual basis, especially on topics related to pop culture. I also enjoy the Wikimedia Commons. I do not have the ambition to write many new articles, but I can step in every now and then to correct errors or add new information.

I wrote my first article, which was also my first edit, on Mixmath on August 29, 2006.
