Belgirate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 110 km northeast of Turin and about 11 km south of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 515 and an area of 8.4 km².[1]
Belgirate borders the following municipalities: Besozzo, Brebbia, Ispra, Leggiuno, Lesa, Monvalle, Stresa.
