Hi! I am a former Queenslander currently living in "Marvellous Melbourne", Victoria, Australia.
I am studying architecture at university level and have a keen interest in local history. Travelling extensively around Australia and overseas gives me an appreciation of what is great about where you live and our great Australian culture and the wonderful multicultural melting pot that we live in.
Wikipedia has dispelled a lot of myths for me, and I have grown to hate unsourced statements and factoids, it has also helped me to appreciate the significance of things that I had until now taken for granted.
Like most Melburnians, I have become emersed in Australian Rules Football, I have adopted the historic Melbourne Football Club, and have taken a keen interest in it, contributing to many articles on the sport as I learn more and more about its rich history and its growth around the world.

[edit] Major Contributions
My contributions include refining some of the following articles (and architectural photographic surveys) on Melbourne's historic inner city suburbs, particularly in the inner south east near where I live:
Melbourne CBD
- Melbourne (suburb). I have (somewhat controversially) proposed that the true name of this article and subject be Melbourne, Victoria (although I know this is semantically correct this seems to have come up against some opposition from passionate Melburnians), while Greater Melbourne should be moved to Melbourne, Australia to avoid disambiguation with several smaller cities in the USA and England. The redirect from Melbourne, however, should stay.
