Blind Flight is a British film that was released in 2003. It is based on the true-life story of the English journalist John McCarthy and the Irish journalist Brian Keenan's kidnapping and imprisonment in the Lebanon during the period of 1986 until their release in 1991. The film is based on Keenan's memoir, An Evil Cradling
The film received wide-spread critical acclaim, being nominated for six awards, and winning a BAFTA. It was written and directed by John Furse of the Devon Furse family.
