"Blowing Kisses in the Wind" was the third single off of Paula Abdul's album, Spellbound.

The song was Abdul's second ballad single release. Like "Rush Rush" and some other songs on the album the song showed off Abdul's improved vocals.
The music video featured Ballet/Jazz dancing as Abdul dances on a theater stage. The video's aerial dynamics was similar to how it's performed on her "Under My Spell Tour". Like her other videos it got strong play on MTV.
Although it charted in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 it didn't do as well as her previous six singles that all went number one. It ended up peaking at #6 and was somewhat of a disappointment.
