Blue Scholars is the self-titled, first major release by Blue Scholars, a hip-hop duo.
The first release of the album (commonly called "The Pacific Northwest" release) featured only tracks 1-11 and the second release of the album added tracks 12-14. The artwork of the two releases also differs - the CD case of the first release featured a white-colored Blue Scholars logo over a blue background while the CD case of the second release featured a black silhouette of the city of Seattle with a Blue Scholars logo over a brown background.
The album was voted "Best Album of 2004" by the Seattle Weekly. [1]
