The BMD-3 (Boyevaya Mashina Desantnya) is a light, armored, air-dropable vehicle of Russian origin. It is fully amphibious and intended to be a fire-support platform for use by airborne and air assault units. It has a crew of 3 with seating for 7 soldiers, 4 in the front and 3 in the rear.
