Brian Benoit

Brian Earn Benoit is the guitar player for The Dillinger Escape Plan. Before playing in Dillinger, Brian played in a band called Jesuit with eventual Converge bassist Nate Newton, and Canephora. He was also an early live-only member in Virginia youth crew revival band, Time Flies. Brian joined Dillinger just prior to the recording of Calculating Infinity and has played on every release since, including Irony Is a Dead Scene and Miss Machine.

In late 2004 just after the release of Miss Machine Brian developed nerve damage in his left hand, which has kept him from regularly performing live with the band since.
