Calculating Infinity is an album by The Dillinger Escape Plan, released on September 28, 1999 (see 1999 in music). This album is considered by many in the genres of metalcore, tech metal, and mathcore, to be a major pillar in the foundations of subsequent attempts by other artists.
The samples in the hidden track after "Variations on a Cocktail Dress" appear to be taken from the 1959 film version of The Diary of Anne Frank.
It must be noted that the groove in the title track bears almost undeniable similarity to Watchtower's Dangerous Toy at the two minute mark. Ron Jarzombek of Watchtower mentions his admiration of DEP in an interview here.[1]
