Brian Spillett

Lance Bombardier Brian Spillet was a member of P Battery, 289 Regiment Royal Horse Artillery. In 1965 Spillet was posthumously awarded the George Cross, the highest award for bravery out of combat. LBdr Spillet died of burns he received while trying to save a neighbor in Lodge Crescent, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.
