Buldana is a city and a municipal council in Buldana district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

It is the headquarters of Buldhana District. It is located on the top of a mountain in Ajanta ranges, in central India and is about 900 m above sea level.The only salt lake made by astranauticle movements in India comes under this district.
