Clement Calhoun Young (April 28, 1869 – December 24, 1947) was the Governor of the U.S. state of California between 1927 and 1931. Born in Lisbon, New Hampshire, he was defeated when he ran for governor in 1934. He also served as a member of the California State Assembly for Alameda County from 1909 to 1919, and as Lieutenant Governor of California from 1919 to 1927. He was a member of the United States Republican Party, though during his career in the State Assembly he also won endorsements from the Progressive and Demoratic parties. He died in 1947 in Berkeley, California.
