Campbell Brown (footballer)

Campbell Brown (born August 28, 1983) currently plays for Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League.
Height: 177 centimetres AFL Debut: 2002 (Hawthorn Football Club) Brown wears the No. 30 guernsey and is noted for his overall aggression and toughness.[citation needed] He debuted for the Hawks in 2002, and received a nomination for the Rising Star award.[citation needed]
Campbell was involved in a 2005 racial attack on a shop attendant in Hawthorn. He appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court in February 2006 charged with criminal damage, wilful damage, using insulting words and using indecent language.[1]
Brown was convicted and while no conviction was recorded, he was fined $2000 and ordered to attend an anger management and alcohol awareness course. He was also ordered to donate $1500 to an Aboriginal college and write a letter of apology to the shop owner and a police officer.[2]
Brown played in the International Rules Series in 2006.[citation needed]
He is the son of legendary Australian rules football personality, Malcolm 'Mal' Brown.[citation needed]
