Capitão Brasil is a comic series starred by Capitão Brasil, a near-anonymous (or, as him says, forgetted) is circulation in Brazil.

Capitão Brasil is a character who is the typical Brazilian 'malandro' (a term used for sly people) that lives in Rio de Janeiro. The stories passes in a region close to Copacabana beach. He alway knows the troubles by a public telephone call, which Capitão Brasil always receive calls. The stories also featur Cap. Brasil neighborhood, which includes a snack bar, the Bar do Pedrão, where he always drinks and eats, but always saying that 'I'll pay tomorrow'.

Capitão Brasil is an obvious parody, and for some a critic, of Captain America. Due to this fact, a lot of people claim that Capitão Brasil is an alter-ego.
