Carla Sophia von Lahnstein is a fictional character on German soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love). The character is portrayed by Claudia Hiersche since September 19, 2003.
The sister of Ansgar (Wolfram Grandezka) and Leonard (Lars Korten) and the half-sister of Sarah (Sina-Valeska Jung), Nico (Verena Zimmermann) and Constantin (Milan Marcus). She was married to Bernd von Beyenbach (Ron Holzschuh), but this marriage was only a alibi, because her father Johannes (Thomas Gumpert) didn't know, that his daughter is a lesbian. She is currenty married to Susanne Brander (Claudia Scarpatetti), but her father Arno Brander (Konrad Krauss) is against this marriage, because Carla's father Johannes stoled him Elisabeth (Martina Servatius).
In late 2006, Carla and Susanne wanted a child together and found Lars Schneider (Herbert Ulrich) to be the father for their child. After it came out, that Susanne can't be pregnat, Carla declared that she will become the baby. Then she was pregnant an went for a limited job to New York. In March 2007 she came back to Ansgar's marriage with her best friend Nathalie (Jenny Winkler).
