Carmen Bryan

Carmen Bryan is the former fiancée of rapper Nas and the mother of his daughter Destiny. She is the author of the controversial 2006 memoir, "It's No Secret", in which she details her love affairs with Nas and Jay-Z. She is seen as a modern concubine and the source of the infamous rivalry between the two New York rappers.

Many have viewed Carmen Bryan's novel as an exploited claim to fame by using the premise of Karrine Steffans'("Superhead") earlier novel "Confessions of a Video Vixen."[citation needed]
