- merge proposals should be limited to identical topics and not should not involve related topics. The CBS catalyst does more than just reducing: tag removed V8rik 19:47, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- On the contrary, Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages#Merging lists several scenarios in which the topics are not identical. You should have simply objected to the merger and explained your reasoning. On further consideration, however, I've changed my mind about these particular articles, so I won't be a stickler and take it to Wikipedia:Proposed mergers. —Keenan Pepper 06:16, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
