Chase Addison Clark (born August 20, 1883 in Amo, Indiana - died December 30, 1966 in Boise, Idaho) was an attorney and politician from Idaho. He served as governor of Idaho from 1941 to 1943. He was a member of the Idaho Democratic Party.
Clark was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in 1912 but left to fight in World War I. He returned to politics in the 1930s, serving in the Idaho State Senate (1933-1936) and as mayor of Idaho Falls (1937-1938). He was elected governor in 1940, defeating the Republican incumbent, C. A. Bottolfsen. Bottolfsen defeated Clark to regain the governorship in 1942. The following year Clark was appointed as a judge in the U.S. District Court for Idaho by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Clark was a member of a prominent Idaho political family. He is the brother of Barzilla Clark, who preceded him as governor, and the father-in-law of U.S. Senator Frank Church. A nephew, D. Worth Clark, also represented Idaho in the United States Congress. Clark's daughter and Church's widow, Bethine Clark Church, was active in Idaho Democratic politics as of 2006.
