Childs Hill, part of the London Borough of Barnet, is a suburban development situated 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Charing Cross bisected by the A41. With four high rise blocks of flats, it is the site of a library, a small park, pubs, shops, restaurants, small businesses, offices, primary schools and two or three churches, one of which is Baptist.
It is the most densely populated ward in the borough.
